"This is it," Keith Cook announced, standing in front of the home he'd grown up in.  "My step-mother is waiting for us."

"Well it certainly looks cheerful," Fanny said brightly, attempting to put the children at ease.
"Come along, Gretel. Come along, Hansel.  Let's go meet Granny." 

Hansel trailed behind as the rest of his family hurried up the steps.  Glancing at the window, he froze when he saw her watching...
